Why Won’t My Capture Presentation File Talk to my Console?

A brand-new adventure for me: making a video. So comments on both the subject and the video itself (constructive, please) are welcome! This won’t be a regular thing for a while, if ever. But I’m dipping my toes in.

I dislike trackpad and so never use it unless I have to, so I had to actually export a presentation file from Capture (2024) and see if it works the same way on PC. It does not. Holding down shift+two fingers on trackpad produces zoom (and interestingly it’s reversed from what I’d expect). Pinch does work for zoom. My goto for navigating Capture in windows is a wheel/centerbutton mouse. Wheel is zoom, hold down centerbutton and move mouse is orbit, shift+centerbutton is move side to side.

Also, opening my freshly exported Capture 2024 presentation file on Windows required only clicking on the .exe (and allowing network access of course). But I then opened an older Capture 2021 presentation file, and on that I had to then click on the .bin file, same as you would on Mac.

Good video. I wish I had this when I was first starting out with Capture!
