Fixtures Had a Bad Day: Custom Profiles

I’d solve this a bit differently because of byType palettes. My goal is for the same fixtures to use the same arrangement in patch.
All channels would be Part 1 = wW+cW, Part 2 = cW. Because they’re parts the can be patched apart. The only thing special is that the cW in part 1 is Virtual. You could do a part 1 with only wW, but then the color picker (and gel syntax) wouldn’t work.

Nice solution. I’ve never had a reason to use a “Warm white” fixture profile, so I hadn’t thought of it. Thanks for sharing!

Custom profiles are great. I make a copy of every fixture type and save it as my own custom profile so I can tweak as necessary. Usually it’s swapping the high and low DMX values of the tint channel so that +Green is always to the right on the encoder and -Green is always to the left. And getting rid of “Neutral” or “Off” levels at the ends of ranges.
