I had a very stressful day on set once when I had some fixtures that had a StopEffect value and selecting them and typing [At] [Enter] or [Effect] [At] [Enter] did not remove the stop effect value. I’m uncertain if this was a bug or what, but fortunately, Andrew Webberly rode to my rescue via text.  

If you ever find yourself in this circumstance, select your lights and type [Effect] [Enter] and the Stop Effect Command will be removed.
