    With LW going subscription as well, it feels like we as an industry need better options all around. My NFP LORT theatre company has probably 10-12 licenses for each program, and with LW going subscription as well, that cost is going to explode. I can’t imagine a lot of designers outside of educational institutions will be able to afford to keep using both. The pay rates for USA Designers barely covers that and living expenses in NYC or California (where the majority lives). Drafting rates are going up.
